Bailey Phillips was selected by American Legion Auxiliary Granville Unit 323 as Granville Empire Girls State Citizen for 2021.
She participated in a week long conference at Empire Girls State via zoom during the summer.
Bailey was part of an "amazing week of learning focused on responsible citizenship, leadership, and love for God and country" sponsored by the NYS American Legion Auxiliary.
Bailey took time from her busy schedule to attend the Auxiliary November 8th monthly meeting and share her experiences with the group. Ms. Phillips received a round of applause and congratulations from the group.
President Charlene Whitney presented Bailey Phillips with a Certificate of Participation from the Granville Auxiliary and thanked her for representing Granville in this statewide event.
