Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are pleased to announce Granville Central School District will be offering a Summer Academy for all students who have completed grades K-6 for the 2020- 2021 school year. Please complete the form posted on the website to indicate your commitment in your child’s participation in this academic based program.
The program will run from 8:00-11:00 AM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays starting July 6, 2021 through August 12, 2021. The Summer Academy will be held at MJT for grades K-3 and GES for grades 4-6.
Transportation will be provided for those eligible for transportation during the regular school year. Parents may also drop off and pick up students. Walkers may continue to walk to school as well.
The Summer Academy will focus on NYS Next Generation Learning Standards for ELA and Math. The goal of this academic program is to provide learning opportunities that focus on remediation, maintenance and strengthening of skills sets through direct instruction and review. These activities will reinforce reading, writing, and math skills. The program is designed to help students maintain or increase their current academic levels. Please indicate below whether your child will be attending. Please return this form and/or complete the online Google Form by June 1, 2021.
