The winners of the 2020 Sam Eppolito and Bev Tatko awards have been announced. Winners are voted on by all of the varsity head coaches in the district. Each coach may nominate student-athletes from their respected teams that they coach to be on the ballot. Once the nominations are in, Athletic Director Nassivera sends out the official ballot to the varsity head coaches who then vote on who they believe should be the winners.
The Sam Eppolito Memorial Award is presented to a senior boy and a senior girl who the Granville coaching staff feels contributed to the most to athletics over a four year period
The Beverly Tatko Award is presented to a senior boy and girl who displays leadership qualities, is well respected, dependable, has a good personality, and is not afraid to accept a challenge.
Votes are tallied and the winners are selected. This years winners:
